HOA- The fee of $690.00 can have its sticker shock but is really only slightly higher than most which are rising yearly. The low HOA’s typically end up with high assessment of thousands of dollars for items such as roof, paint, grounds, siding, 2 pools, tennis and pickle ball courts and more. All of this is included so it really is nominal when you compare $16,000.00 for a paint, $8,000.00 for gutters, 20,000.00 for a roof, $9,000.00 for dry rot and siding, termite repair, skylight plus all the landscape upkeep and water at the front of the house, etc. Then there is the contractor hassle of finding them, managing the, holding them accountable for timely and complete work. The fee is actually less when you add all this up then amortized over 10-years. The HOA has a balanced budget with reserves based on the last annual report. The CC&Rs are included below.
